All bookings are made through The Basement at 24 Kensington Street, Brighton, BN1 4AJ, who administer a booking service on behalf of MAMG, and all risk assessments, which should accompany the booking form, must be approved prior to the event by the Kier Facilities Manager based in Jubilee Library. The Kier Facilities Manager will also provide staff attendance on the day of the event as necessary.

Jubilee Square is licensed to hold events until 11pm any day during the week or weekend.

Events have been held in Jubilee Square which have included activities extending into Jubilee Street and the responsibility for arranging any street closure with Brighton and Hove Highways department rests with the event organiser.

Please remember that as an event organiser, you have a legal responsibility to ensure the health and safety of any employees, volunteer helpers or contractors involved in arranging the event and to the public and participants attending. This should be ensured by carrying out a risk assessment, in which all hazards associated with the event are identified, the level of risk assessed and appropriate action taken to reduce the risk to an acceptable level.
